Year 8 Students Shine in Spectacular Production of Sister Act at Hugh Sexey Middle School

In a dazzling display of talent and dedication, the Year 8 students of Hugh Sexey CofE Middle School took centre stage in their production of Sister Act. With a cast and crew exceeding 70 pupils, the school showcased back-to-back performances to delighted audiences, including First schools, KS2 and KS3 pupils, as well as evening shows for staff, friends, and families.
From the beginning of the school year, students, supported by devoted staff and parents, poured their hearts and souls into every aspect of the production. From mastering lines to perfecting dance routines, building sets to creating costumes and makeup, their commitment was truly commendable, evident in the fantastic performances they delivered.
Behind the scenes, the supporting cast of ‘Nuns’ and the dedicated backstage and technical crew played integral roles, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable show. As the curtains closed on this triumphant production, the entire school community has been left with immense pride.
