People Strategy

The Wessex Learning Trust’s People Strategy has been developed to support the vision and values of the Trust. We believe our strategy makes a clear statement about how we value and treat our people, and the culture we wish to adopt to enable everyone to achieve and sustain excellence in all areas of activity.

Context / Workforce

The Wessex Learning Trust employs around 1000 people in both teaching and non-teaching roles, both full and part-time. Each and every one has a role to play in delivering our Trust targets and objectives to enhance the learning and the experience to all of our 6000 pupils across our 17 schools and leisure centre facility.

Our Aim

To make the Wessex Learning Trust an organisation where people are proud and passionate about their work in making a difference to future generations, where individuals and school teams are trusted with responsibility and are accountable for what they do, and where the development, diversity and wellbeing of our people is recognised as being as important as that of our learners.
