Somerset HE+ Consortium Launched at Kings Academy, Inspiring Over 150 Students from 10 Schools

Kings Academy welcomed over 150 students from 10 Somerset schools for the launch of the Somerset HE+ consortia on Thursday, January 25th.

The HE+ initiative aims to challenge Year 12 students capable of submitting competitive applications to research-led universities. In addition to an engaging online curriculum, students collaborated on critical thinking exercises, expressed their academic passions, and participated in an informative admissions talk.

Moving forward, students will embark on super-curricular activities to deepen their understanding, aiming to fill their knowledge boards for discussion in March. It was a thrilling day, marking an excellent beginning to the programme.
