The Wessex Learning Trust is always incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our exceptional staff. This week is no exception as the news broke that Jenny Baines, the Kings of Wessex’s National Education Union (NEU) School Representative, had been recognised with a Somerset School Representative of the Year award.

Put forward by National Executive Officer, Robin Head, for developing an open and collaborative working relationship at the Kings of Wessex Academy, Jenny was presented with the award (virtually) at the local NEU Annual General Meeting.

As a Trust we value our staff and believe in creating an open and harmonious working environment; as such we are incredibly proud to see Jenny being recognised for her work in helping continue to foster this at the Kings of Wessex Academy.

Headteacher at the Kings of Wessex, Dave Wiltshire said:

“This is an incredibly well-deserved award, and testament to Jenny’s dedication to supporting her colleagues. I look forward to continuing to work with Jenny and benefit from her pragmatic and forward-thinking support”
