The Entitled Sons Visit Crispin for an Unforgettable Performance

January 21, 2025

On Thursday January 16, Year 8 and 9 students at Crispin were treated to a truly electrifying experience when The Entitled Sons performed live in the school hall.

Organised by Mr. Priddice and Ms. Cooper-White as part of the Lower School Music and Curriculum for Life programmes, this event quickly became a highlight of the term. The Entitled Sons, a dynamic four-piece band of talented brothers—sons of TV presenter Sarah Beeny—brought their distinctive blend of high-energy rock and deeply personal lyrics to the stage, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement.

The band, known for their appearances on Channel 4’s New Life in the Country, has captivated audiences nationwide with their powerful music and inspiring journey. However, it’s not just their musical talent that sets them apart. The Entitled Sons are passionate about sharing their personal stories, particularly those involving overcoming challenges such as bullying, mental health struggles, ADHD, and dyslexia.

Through their heartfelt music and engaging storytelling, the band sparked meaningful conversations with the students, encouraging them to embrace their own struggles and pursue their dreams with resilience and determination.

One Year 9 student, Ella, shared her thoughts: “They were a fun band with incredible talent, and it was amazing how they interacted with us. Hearing about their own battles with mental health and neurodiversity made everything feel more real and relatable. It was really helpful!” Her friend Ivy added, “It was a powerful experience, and I loved how they made us feel seen and heard.”

The morning was filled with energy, emotion, and inspiration, reminding everyone that the power of music goes far beyond entertainment. It’s about connection, empathy, and overcoming life’s challenges together.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to The Entitled Sons for visiting Crispin and for sharing their story and music with us. It was a day that will not be forgotten by the students!
