Sixth Form Pathways Event is a great success at Nailsea school

Year 12s attended Nailsea School’s first Sixth Form Pathways Event, where a number of external providers including businesses, Government departments, Universities and Colleges came in to Nailsea school and offered workshops, seminars and talks to give a wider understanding of the specialism they could offer. Highlights included a workshop led by Weston College in hair, makeup and prosthetics, a business sector talk provided by Thatcher’s Cider, a demonstration of biological laboratory sciences, and a healthcare sector talk given by Tower House Medical Centre staff.

The event was a huge success – and covered a diverse range of activities and specialisms, it was a great start to the Sixth Form pathways week and provided an insightful foundation for students heading into their final year at Nailsea Sixth form.
