The Trust was pleased to be featured in an interview on BBC Radio Somerset, discussing the Kings of Wessex Academy’s efforts to maintain the school’s centuries old ascension day tradition; despite the coronavirus lockdown.
Kings of Wessex Academy featured on the front page of the Cheddar Valley Gazette in April with an in-depth interview with their newly appointed headteacher, Mr. David Wiltshire

As the country got to grips with lockdown, the Trust was proud to feature on BBC Points West in June 2020 as they interviewed a student at Fairlands Middle School who had led a successful campaign to get Year 8s in the Middle School System ‘face-time’ with their teachers before they transitioned to Senior School in September.
As lockdown began to ease in England, Kings Fitness and Leisure (part of the Wessex Learning Trust) was able to re-open. The centre’s first week of re-opening was documented on the front page of the Cheddar Valley Gazette.
In December 2020, the Trust was proud to feature an advert for Draycott and Rodney Stoke First School in the Mendip Times. The advert highlighted the quality of education provided by the Trust, and the school, and sought to encourage prospective parents to consider a Wessex education for their child.
