A – Level Results
Students at the Kings of Wessex Academy are celebrating their excellent A Level results. The A Level pass rate remains at an impressive 99% and more than half of the students were awarded grades of B, A and A*. These results are well deserved and reflect the high levels of effort and commitment the students have demonstrated throughout their studies.
The Year 11 students at Kings also celebrated the academy’s best ever set of GCSE results. Overall 76% of students in Year 11 achieved five or more exam passes at grade 9 to 5, including English and Maths. In addition, the percentage of students achieving five or more passes at grade 9-4 was 82%. These excellent achievements come hot on the heels of the academy’s first rate A-level results.
As always, the headline figures do not tell the whole story as there were many achieving far beyond this, with a remarkable 119 students obtaining 11 or more passes at grade 9 to 4. The pass rate for all exams sat was 99%, with 24% of all entries being awarded the top grades of 9 or 8.
