Our Fitness Centre

Wessex Learning Trust includes the state of the art Kings Fitness and Leisure Centre. Sited within he grounds of Kings Academy in Cheddar, Kings Fitness and Leisure is a thriving centre at the heart of the community, with and excellent range of affordable facilities.

Facilities include:

·        400m2 Fitness Gym (brand new equipment in February 2023).

·        25m Swimming Pool.

·        State-of-the-art Sports Hall.

·        Four modern studios, including a virtual studio.

•  Outdoor AstroTruf and Sports Fields.

All Wessex Learning Trust schools have access to the facilities at Kings Fitness and Leisure, this can be anything from early years swimming to sports days. Older students can also benefit from the Sports Academy, a monthly membership aimed at teenagers with a range of classes, swimming and gym sessions.

Trust staff benefit from reduced membership for themselves and their family and the leisure centre also operates Swim Academy and the Kingfishers Swimming Club.
